Mail Day

Lili was excited! She got a package from her friend Megan M. in Ketchikan.
Here is a picture to show the Post Office. It is about 12' x 15', with a back room for sorting the mail. Most of the packages are just put in the lobby for their owners to come pick them up at their own leisure. No, the Post Office is not locked. Who would want someone else's mail??
Carson, Shelsea and Lili eagerly wait in line at the front window...waiting to see if anything came for them..
Another shot of the Post Office. It is on the waterfront, as the mail and packages are loaded onto a skiff at the dock, brought over, unloaded onto the beach, and then carried up to the back door of the P.O.  Some people bring their skiff's to the P.O. to get their mail. So, they park behind it as well...
